Monday, September 12, 2011 at 9:30AM It's been a while since my last post. I hate that so many posts start out with that line, but it's true. This summer has been a busy one shooting, so there's a lot of new posts coming, I promise.
A couple years ago I was introduced to Big Oak Ranch when I shot the wedding of a couple who had grown up at the ranch. (Big Oak is an incredible organization that provides a home and a family for children needing a chance. If you don't know about them, please check them out.) Since then, I've had the opportunity to shoot a couple other weddings from couples that were part of the host families. The most recent was Colby and Eva. Colby and his family were one of the many host families at the ranch, and he met Eva while in college. We shot both the wedding and engagement session at the ranch. It should be easy to see why I would take the opportunity to shoot at the ranch, any chance I can get.

Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 9:01AM Laurel-Dawn McBurney, the talent behind the blog Abode Love, asked me to shoot her house for the up coming issue of Southern Flourish and we were both pleased to discover it was chosen for the cover. Laurel-Dawn has an amazing way of turning what seems to be an ordinary space into something spectacular. Check out her blog when you get a chance, it's great. Congrats Abode Love on the cover.

Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 9:00AM Seems like just a couple weeks ago I was posting pics from Reid's 1st birthday party. As cliched as it sounds, it really is amazing how fast time goes by when you have kids. Tris did a great job putting the "mr. man" party together, I just had to take some pics.

This shot of Melinda is incredible.... I can say this because I didn't take it. Sasha (the girl in the tie) took my camera and snapped away. It's entirely possible she's never touched a dSLR before. Hats off!

Happy Birthday Reid. You're awesome.
