Birmingham Wedding - Micah and Haller

You can read more about the wedding here.
I had met Joy while shooting our first wedding years ago. I guess she didn't pick up that we were scared out of our minds, being our first time and all, because when it was her time to get married, she called me up. Joy and Todd were the most relaxed couple I think we've ever worked with. It's very difficult with all that's going on during your wedding day to sit back and take it all in. But they didn't seem to have that problem at all. Fun was had by all, even the bride and groom.
The wedding took place at First United Methodist Church in Auburn, AL. The Reception was at The Fountainview Mansion.
Last summer, at a wedding, I witnessed a strangely over-the-top reaction to the "winners" of the garter and bouquet toss. Apparently these two were the "favorites" to "win", if I can even say that. I find out months later that those two, Pat and Haley, were engaged 2 weeks following that wedding. It could be the first time in history that's actually happened. (Other than in the movies.) Anyways, I'm super excited about shooting Pat and Haley's wedding. Here's some shots from the engagement shoot.
It's been a crazy couple of months and I'm WAY behind on updating my blog. And because the title of my blog is Eric Chapman Photography, I should probably be posting more photography. A few months ago I posted some engagement photos of Kristi and Josh, well their big day finally came, and it was great. The rain cleared and the entire day was beautiful. Here's some of my favorite pics:
I figured I should finally start posting about photography since the title of my blog has the word "photography" in it. It's been a few weeks, but I've shot a lot... just have no time to edit and post.
Here's Kristi and Josh:
Kristi and I go way back. She used to be an actress for Student Life and their Kids team. Not sure if you can tell in the pictures but she's quite animated, so it was a good fit being with kids. She's the kind of girl you always want around, if nothing else but to keep the mood light and bubbly. I'll be shooting their wedding in May but here are a few shots from their engagement session.
